The Event Panel is a specialized hardware device designed to display notifications and calendar events from a PC. It is built on the CrowPanel Advance ESP32-S3 platform by Elecrow and is available in 5-inch and 7-inch touchscreen versions.

The device connects to a computer via USB and requires the Grovety Event Companion application, which runs in the background on Windows. It is not a secondary monitor; users cannot drag windows or applications onto it.

The panel displays notifications from Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Windows system notifications, including third-party apps like Todoist. Users can pin, delete, or open notifications directly from the touchscreen, which triggers the corresponding application on the main PC.

A dedicated section of the screen shows upcoming Outlook calendar events. The device provides alerts two minutes before a meeting starts and again at the scheduled time, helping users track their daily schedule without switching windows.

The current software supports Microsoft 365 integration. Developers have announced plans to expand compatibility to include Slack, Gmail, and Google Calendar in future updates.
