Eureka! Venture has launched a new €20 million fund, Eureka! Fund II – Deep Tech Lazio, focused on early and development-stage deep-tech startups. Lazio Innova acts as an anchor investor, committing €16 million through the European funds PR Fesr 2021-2027.

The fund utilizes an asymmetric profit and loss allocation mechanism designed to lower entry barriers for private investors. Its investment strategy targets proprietary technologies with high entry barriers, including hardware and software solutions across sectors like energy transition, robotics, AI, and quantum technologies.

Eureka! Venture, founded in 2019 and supervised by the Bank of Italy and Consob, manages the new vehicle. The firm previously operated the Eureka! Fund I – Technology Transfer, which was launched in 2020.

The fund prioritizes companies with a presence or development plans in the Lazio region. It aims to support industrial validation and growth while fostering links between scientific research and international markets.
