According to a report by Bitwise, Ethereum staking reached 43.8 million ETH by the end of the third quarter, which accounts for 35.9% of the total supply. During the same period, the network recorded net staking inflows of nearly 2 million ETH. However, the annualized staking yield for Ethereum decreased from 2.81% to 2.63% as rewards were distributed across a larger base of staked assets.
Solana also achieved significant growth in staking participation, with 69% of its total supply staked by the end of the third quarter. The network is currently preparing for the Alpenglow upgrade, which aims to reduce finality time to 150 milliseconds. Additionally, non-vote transactions on the Solana network surged by 104% in the third quarter of 2026, reaching a total of 8.92 billion.
