ESWIN Computing, a Beijing-based chip designer founded in 2019 by former BOE chairman Wang Dongsheng, is preparing for a Hong Kong IPO. The company plans to offer 1.57 billion H shares at a price range of HKD 1.48 to HKD 1.59 per share, with trading scheduled to commence on October 9 under stock code 1256.

The company operates as a fabless semiconductor firm focusing on RISC-V architecture. As of March 2026, its portfolio included over 620 IP modules, 20 series of RISC-V cores, and 1,740 patent applications. During the reporting period, ESWIN served 220 customers and commercialized more than 150 hardware-software products.

Despite its focus on RISC-V, the majority of ESWIN's revenue remains tied to display-related components. In 2025, human-machine interaction chips generated RMB 1.86 billion, accounting for 76.3% of total revenue. Multimedia-processing chips contributed an additional 6.2%, making screen-related products the primary revenue base.

ESWIN is expanding into edge computing, automotive systems, and AI. Revenue from computing products grew from RMB 375,000 in 2023 to RMB 319.8 million in 2025, reaching 13.2% of total revenue. In the first three months of 2026, computing revenue reached RMB 223 million, representing nearly half of the quarterly sales.
