Epson has launched three new 4K laser projectors for home cinema setups: the LS5000, LS6000, and LS7500. All models utilize the company's proprietary 3LCD technology. The entry-level LS5000 is priced at $2000 and offers a brightness of 2500 lumens. It features two HDMI ports and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones.

To achieve a 120-inch display, the LS5000 must be placed approximately 3.5 meters from the screen. The device also includes manual lens shift for easier installation. The LS6000 model, priced at $2200, shares most specifications with the LS5000 but increases the brightness output to 3400 lumens.

The flagship of the new trio is the LS7500, which features short-throw optics. This model can project a 120-inch image from a distance of about 2.7 meters and reaches a brightness of 3500 lumens. Epson notes that these new projectors have lower contrast levels compared to the existing LS11000 model, which remains the top-tier option at $4500.
