Infosystems Jet has completed functional and stress testing of a VXLAN fabric based on Eltex hardware. The solution utilizes a Spine-Leaf architecture designed for scalable and fault-tolerant data center networks, targeting sectors such as finance, retail, telecommunications, and industrial enterprises.

The test setup involved Eltex MES5400 and MES5500 series switches. The configuration included two Spine-level switches and two pairs of Leaf-level switches connected to servers running virtualization systems. Engineers evaluated dynamic routing protocols, AAA, NTP, Syslog, and the MP-BGP/EVPN/VXLAN stack.

The testing program included Multi-Homing technology, channel aggregation, and simulated failure scenarios. Results confirmed the fabric maintains stable operation during interface, link, or node failures without significant traffic loss, ensuring business process continuity.

Eltex focuses on separating underlay and overlay networks to provide flexibility and isolation. This architecture allows for L3 connectivity between Leaf and Spine layers while supporting L2 segments for services, enabling infrastructure scaling without altering the base architecture.
