Eliyan, a semiconductor startup based in Santa Clara, has received at least one takeover bid. The company has engaged an investment bank to evaluate strategic options, including a potential sale that could value the business at $3 billion.

This interest follows a Series C funding round on July 29, 2026, where the company raised $145 million at a valuation of $1 billion. Total funding since the company's inception in 2021 exceeds $250 million.

The startup develops high-speed chiplet interconnects, including NuLink PHYs and NuGear products, designed to address bandwidth limitations in GPUs. The company holds over 100 patents and utilizes 3nm fabrication processes.

Arm, which previously invested $5 million in Eliyan and held preliminary acquisition discussions, has not submitted a formal bid as of October 2026. The identity of the current bidder remains undisclosed.

Eliyan plans to begin shipping its initial chiplet products by the end of 2026. The company expects to generate significant revenue in the following year.
