The Elgato Stream Deck XL, a macro pad featuring 32 programmable keys, is currently available at a discounted price. The device is now listed on Amazon for $199.99, reflecting a reduction of $49 from its regular price.
Each of the 32 keys on the device includes an individual LCD screen, allowing users to assign custom images to represent specific functions. The unit is designed with an angled stand to improve visibility and accessibility when placed on a desk.
The hardware is compatible with various applications, including Twitch, OBS, Meld Studio, Discord, and YouTube. Users can implement Smart Profiles to automatically switch button configurations based on the active application on a Mac or PC.
Beyond streaming and content production, the device serves as a tool for PC gamers to manage in-game macros and shortcuts. This functionality is particularly relevant for users with compact 60% keyboards that lack dedicated macro keys.
