The new Lite DOT system provides wireless inductive charging for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with a power output of up to 11 kW. The solution consists of an above-ground charging pad and an optional wall-mounted module, which allows for installation in existing parking spaces without requiring extensive excavation or civil engineering work.

To enable energy transfer, vehicles must be equipped with a specific receiver, which can be supplied by Electreon or automotive industry partners. The system automatically detects the vehicle once it is parked over the pad and initiates the charging process, making it suitable for fleet operations during downtime or for autonomous vehicle applications.

The hardware is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with an operating temperature range of -30 to +50 degrees Celsius, and remains functional in rain or snow. Users can manage the process via the Electreon Flow Driver app. This stationary product complements the company's existing high-power dynamic charging technology.

Electreon continues to test its high-power inductive systems on public roads, including the A10 motorway in France and the A6 in Germany, where peak charging power has exceeded 300 kW. Following the acquisition of InductEV earlier this year, the company now reports holding more than 400 patents related to wireless charging technology.
