Swedish freight company Einride is expanding its partnership with Nvidia to develop a next-generation autonomous platform. The collaboration integrates Nvidia DRIVE Hyperion technology and Blackwell architecture to enable Level 4 autonomy for heavy-duty trucks, allowing vehicles to operate without human intervention in defined conditions.

Einride will utilize Nvidia Cosmos for data curation and Blackwell architecture for AI model training. The companies have collaborated since 2018, previously utilizing DRIVE AGX Xavier and Orin platforms. The new integration will also incorporate Nvidia Halos safety systems into Einride’s existing fleet operations.

As of June 2026, Einride has logged over 5,400 driverless hours across its fleet of six autonomous trucks. The company, which went public on Nasdaq under the ticker ENRD in June 2026 via a SPAC merger, operates as a freight platform with clients such as Amazon and Heineken.

The firm is scaling its electric freight capacity, having added 500 Tesla Semis to its operations in August 2026. Einride aims to expand its total fleet to between 1,500 and 2,000 vehicles by 2028. The company previously secured permits for cabless autonomous vehicles in Europe in 2019 and the US in 2022.
