Dyson has launched its R3 AI robot vacuum and mop in China, featuring a cyclone-based docking station. The device is equipped with an HD camera and a stain detection system capable of identifying nearly 200 types of objects. It also includes UV stain detection and green light dust illumination technologies to locate invisible debris.

The robot delivers 30,000 Pa of suction power and features a 27 cm wide roller that can extend by 4 cm to clean edges. It automatically lifts the roller when detecting carpets. For deep cleaning, the system uses 12 water release points and 70°C hot water, which the company claims achieves a 99.9% sterilization rate.

The cyclone station supports bagless dust collection, filtering particles as small as 0.1 microns, allowing for up to 100 days of hands-free maintenance. It provides 70°C hot water roller washing and 55°C hot air drying. Users can manage cleaning zones and modes through a dedicated mobile application.

The device measures 373 x 370 x 110 mm, while the station dimensions are 465 x 415 x 517 mm. The station houses a 3.0 L dust bin, a 2.3 L clean water tank, and a 2.1 L dirty water tank. The product is priced at ¥6,999 and will be available for purchase starting September 16 at 10:00.
