Dyson has launched the R3 AI robot vacuum and mop in China, priced at ¥6,999. The device features a cyclone base station and is equipped with an HD camera and a stain detection system capable of identifying nearly 200 types of objects. The robot uses UV and green light illumination to detect micro-dust and invisible stains, automatically cleaning heavily soiled areas.
The vacuum offers a suction power of 30,000 Pa and includes a 27 cm wide roller that extends by 4 cm for edge cleaning. It performs floor washing with 70°C hot water, achieving a 99.9% sterilization rate. The roller automatically lifts when the device detects a carpet. Users can manage cleaning zones and modes through a dedicated mobile application.
The cyclone base station supports bagless dust collection, filtering particles as small as 0.1 microns, which allows for up to 100 days of hands-free operation. Additionally, the base station provides 70°C hot water roller washing and 55°C hot air drying. The robot measures 373 x 370 x 110 mm, while the base station dimensions are 465 x 415 x 517 mm.
