Cooling solution manufacturer Dynatron has listed the SB1-4U-ACTIVE air cooler on its official website. The hardware is designed for the Socket SB1 platform, which will host AMD EPYC 9006 LP Verano processors based on the Zen 6 microarchitecture.

The upcoming Verano chips are intended for AI accelerator head node applications and are scheduled for release in 2027. These processors will feature up to 72 CPU cores, clock speeds reaching 5 GHz, and support for LPDDR5X SOCAMM2 memory modules along with 112 Gbps high-bandwidth xGMI connections.

The SB1-4U-ACTIVE cooler is built for 4U server environments, measuring 128.05 by 106.6 by 130.7 millimeters. It incorporates a vapor chamber, multiple heat pipes, and two dual-ball bearing fans. The cooling system operates at a maximum fan speed of 6000 RPM, with a 10 percent margin of error, delivering an airflow of 91.7 CFM and a noise level of 44.5 dB(A).
