Dubai Chambers launched a specialized e-learning program on September 1 through the Dubai Chambers Academy platform. The initiative targets more than 14,000 private sector companies across various regional Business Groups and Councils to integrate agentic AI into their operations.

The curriculum focuses on practical business applications, including decision-making frameworks, productivity enhancement, operations management, and growth strategies. Unlike standard chatbots, the training emphasizes autonomous AI systems that can complete tasks and optimize operations without human prompts.

This effort is the first phase of a two-year private-sector transition program announced in May 2026 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The goal is to establish Dubai as the global leader in commercial agentic AI adoption by 2028.

An Executive Committee, formed in June 2026 and chaired by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori and former AI Minister Omar Sultan Al Olama, manages the initiative. The committee's scope includes overseeing training, funding mechanisms, and incubators for companies focusing on agentic AI.

The corporate training is part of a larger UAE-wide strategy. This broader plan includes training 80,000 federal workers in agentic AI and aims to deliver 50% of government services through AI technology. Dubai's foundation for this shift began with the creation of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence in 2017.
