The Doubao application is now available for download on Huawei HarmonyOS PC systems. Users can access the software directly through the official application store.
The initial version of the HarmonyOS desktop app integrates the Doubao 2.1 Turbo and 2.1 Pro models. These tools support features such as document research, PPT generation, automated writing, image creation, and cloud storage management.
ByteDance launched the Doubao Seed 2.1 series in June. The Pro version is designed for high-complexity tasks, while the Turbo version focuses on large-scale production scenarios.
The updated models provide improved performance in coding, agent-based task execution, and multimodal understanding. According to Huawei, Doubao was the most requested application by HarmonyOS PC users.
