The Epicland X9, the inaugural model from the partnership between Dongfeng Motor and Huawei, is scheduled for an official market launch on September 24, 2026. The vehicle, a three-row SUV, opened for pre-sales on August 18, accumulating over 20,000 orders within the first 24 hours.
The SUV is available in three variants with prices ranging from ¥299,800 to ¥379,800. Pre-sale incentives, valid until the launch date, include lifetime warranties for the vehicle and core power components, as well as a deposit scheme where a ¥2,000 reservation reduces the final purchase price by ¥5,000.
Measuring 5,301 mm in length, the X9 features the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit and Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 assisted-driving system. The hardware suite includes three high-precision solid-state LiDAR units and a next-generation dual-optical-path imaging-grade LiDAR.
The vehicle utilizes an extended-range powertrain equipped with a 74-kWh battery, providing a battery-only range of 465 km and a combined range exceeding 1,500 km. It is built on the Qiankun Chitu platform and includes dual-chamber air suspension with rear-wheel steering.
Epicland is implementing a retail strategy involving over 300 stores across 79 cities. Additionally, the company is currently evaluating the feasibility of a battery-swapping model, which would mark a significant development within the Huawei automotive ecosystem.
