Diasoft has updated the Product Designer tool, which is part of the Digital Q.ProductFactory platform. The new version introduces a no-code mechanism that allows business users to create custom object types independently, without needing assistance from IT departments or waiting for new software releases.
Previously, the system supported only three base categories: Products, Services, and Product Packages. The update enables users to define specific categories tailored to their business needs. For instance, banks can now implement categories like Loans, Mortgages, or Acquiring, while telecom companies can organize offerings under Mobile or Home Internet.
When a new object type is created, the system automatically updates the application navigation menu. This functionality allows business analysts and technologists to build complex, non-standard catalogs directly within the interface, facilitating faster testing of product hypotheses and reducing time-to-market for new service lines.
