Dell has introduced two new rugged laptops equipped with the third-generation Intel Core Ultra processors. The lineup includes the fully rugged Pro Rugged 13 Extreme and the semi-rugged Pro Rugged 14 model, both designed for demanding environments.

The 13-inch Pro Rugged 13 Extreme features an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance and withstands drops from up to 1.8 meters. It is certified for operation in explosive atmospheres and includes a 1400-nit touchscreen display with onboard LPDDR5X memory.

The 14-inch Pro Rugged 14 model offers IP53 protection and survives drops from 0.9 meters. It comes with an 1100-nit FHD+ display, utilizes LPCAMM2 memory modules, and provides an optional NVIDIA RTX PRO 500 GPU for enhanced graphics performance.

Both devices feature advanced security options, including smart card readers, fingerprint scanners, and IR facial recognition. Users can also opt for 5G connectivity, and the laptops maintain compatibility with previous-generation hot-swappable batteries and chargers.
