Cloud provider DataSpace and the company Flant have launched a new Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) solution. The service is built on the Deckhouse Platform and allows customers to utilize managed Kubernetes clusters within the DataSpace cloud environment.
The platform provides a hybrid environment featuring centralized observability, security tools, and automation. This setup eliminates the need for clients to manually assemble, update, or maintain separate open-source components for their container infrastructure.
Each cluster operates within an isolated tenant in the DataSpace cloud to ensure data protection. The architecture supports both microservices and traditional virtual machines, allowing for unified management and scaling of tasks through a single control plane.
The service is designed to help businesses avoid capital expenditures on hardware and reduce the need for additional DevOps staff. Customers pay for the resources they actually consume, while the use of domestic software ensures independence from foreign systems.
DataSpace and Flant are currently conducting pilot projects with clients. The companies plan to promote the solution through technical webinars, the publication of customer case studies, and participation in industry conferences.
