The Dangbei X9 Max flagship projector features the new QuaLas42 laser light source and the Ultra-Dimensional Thermal Management Architecture 2.0 cooling system. The device delivers 4K resolution with a brightness of 5000 ISO lumens, or 4800 CVIA lumens. It supports Dolby Vision and offers a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1.
A key hardware feature is the optical lens shift system, allowing vertical adjustment of ±135% and horizontal adjustment of ±50%. This mechanism enables image positioning without digital correction. The projector is powered by the MediaTek MT9681 platform and includes support for variable refresh rate (VRR) for gaming consoles and PCs.
The device runs on the Dangbei Super AIOS 6.0 operating system, which integrates a large AI model, an AI agent, the Picture Master image processing engine, and the Dangbei Player. Additionally, the X9 Max is compatible with the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem, supporting Mi Home and the Xiao Ai voice assistant for automation scenarios.
Sales of the new flagship model are scheduled to begin on September 16. While official pricing has not yet been disclosed, the company has already opened pre-orders for the device.
