The Dangbei X9 Ultra projector has officially launched on JD.com. The device is priced at ¥7999, with a discounted price of ¥7199 available through specific government subsidies.
The projector features a QuaLas 42 laser system paired with a 0.47-inch DMD chip. It delivers a brightness of 5600 CVIA or 6100 ISO, a dynamic contrast ratio of 80000:1, and a color accuracy of ΔE≈0.7. The lens offers 99.6% light transmittance.
For gaming and display flexibility, the device includes 1.2 to 1.5:1 lossless optical zoom, VRR support, and a 1 ms low-latency mode. The integrated stand and software-based four-way lossless displacement allow for ±135% vertical and ±50% horizontal image adjustment.
Internally, the X9 Ultra is powered by the MT9681 chip and runs on the Android-based Dangbei AI OS 6.0, which integrates with the Xiaomi Mijia App. The cooling system, dubbed Super Dimensional Thermal Management 2.0, keeps operating noise below 28 dB.
Audio and connectivity features include dual 12W speakers with Dolby Audio support. The I/O panel provides two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB-A 3.0 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
