Cymphony, a startup based in New York and Tel Aviv, has raised $30 million in total funding. This includes a $25 million Series A round co-led by Sequoia Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund, which values the company at over $100 million post-money.

The company's platform utilizes a "workforce graph" to provide security teams with a unified view of employees, AI agents, and non-human identities. This system tracks access to sensitive corporate data and systems, addressing the gap where AI agents often bypass traditional identity controls.

Cymphony has already demonstrated its impact at a U.S. public company, where it identified approximately 85,000 files accessible to AI tools. In another instance, the platform detected an unauthorized instance of Anthropic's Claude used by an external collaborator to scan thousands of sensitive files.

The startup has reached seven-figure annual recurring revenue (ARR) within its first year of sales and has signed a double-digit number of enterprise customers, including KKR, Syngenta, Cass Information Systems, and Athennian. The company currently employs about 30 people across its offices in Tel Aviv and New York.

Cymphony's solution is competing with established security firms like Microsoft, Okta, CyberArk, Wiz, and Varonis. While some customers have consolidated existing tools, Sequoia partner Bogomil Balkansky notes that the platform currently serves as an additional security layer rather than a full replacement for tools like Okta.
