Analysts at CryptoQuant state that Bitcoin must stabilize above $81,700 to confirm a new bull market. The asset recently saw a 24% increase over two weeks, though price action has stalled within a range of $76,000 to $82,000, trading near $77,100 at the time of the report.
Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, identified the $77,100 to $80,200 corridor as a significant on-chain resistance zone. Historical data indicates that long-term holders sold an average of 539,000 BTC in this range during 2026. The 365-day moving average, currently at $81,700, serves as a critical threshold for confirming a bull cycle.
Additional resistance levels include $83,600, based on the 3x Metcalfe band indicator, and $88,700, which aligns with the upper boundary of the realized price model for traders. Conversely, support levels are established at $70,000, where the 200-day moving average lies, and a demand zone between $62,000 and $65,000, where long-term holders acquired 476,000 BTC.
The Bull Score Index from CryptoQuant has declined from 80 to 60 points recently. While the market remains in a bullish regime as long as the score stays above 60, analysts emphasize that demand-side improvements are necessary. Meanwhile, market observer Plan B noted that Bitcoin is currently constrained between two major volume walls at $62,000–65,000 and $84,000–87,000.
