CrowdStrike and CoreWeave have formed a partnership to integrate security data with specialized computing infrastructure. This collaboration aims to provide machine-speed defense capabilities for enterprises by embedding automation directly into systems used for training and running AI models.
The initiative leverages CoreWeave’s infrastructure to support CrowdStrike’s Cyber Superintelligence Lab and its SafeMind platform. CoreWeave provides the necessary training and inference capacity, while CrowdStrike contributes its expertise in adversary behavior and security data.
Bartley Richardson, chief of AI at CrowdStrike, noted that the fastest observed eCrime attacker breakout time in 2025 was 27 seconds. This speed necessitates automated, continuous security operations that can respond to threats faster than human intervention.
Jim Higgins, chief information security officer at CoreWeave, emphasized the importance of integrating security measures into continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The approach focuses on using automation to scan code and fix misconfigurations while production systems remain active.
