Creality has officially launched the K3 3D printer, which is currently available for pre-order. The device is priced at ¥4599 for the initial release period.

The printer features an independent four-channel, four-nozzle system. This configuration allows for nozzle switching in approximately 5 seconds, which the manufacturer claims reduces printing time by 80% and material waste by 85% compared to traditional single-nozzle multi-color systems.

The K3 supports various nozzle diameters, including 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm. It is optimized for TPU printing, allowing for the mixing of materials with different hardness levels. Additionally, it supports CMYK full-color mixing by leveraging material translucency.

The machine is built with a high-rigidity aluminum frame and uses a plug-in mechanical connection with XYZ three-axis positioning. It has undergone over 600,000 high-speed nozzle switching tests, maintaining a positioning accuracy deviation of less than 25μm.

The device includes 37 high-precision sensors, with 12 dedicated to monitoring the nozzle switching process. The printer features an open design with integrated root access, allowing users to customize both hardware and software configurations.
