Shares of GPU cloud provider CoreWeave declined by approximately 15.5% on October 14, 2026, closing at $65.78. This performance places the stock near its 52-week low of $60.55. The broader sector of data center-related stocks has experienced an average decline of 53% from their six-month highs.
As of June 2026, CoreWeave reported debt and lease obligations totaling approximately $52 billion. This debt funded an expansion from a few data centers to dozens since the company's public listing in 2025. The firm currently pays about $640 million in quarterly net interest.
While quarterly revenue has exceeded $2.58 billion, the company's net losses have increased. Investor anxiety has been exacerbated by bond yields climbing to around 15%. Additionally, the recent market downturn has erased an estimated $80 billion in market value from companies including Oracle and Dell.
Market analyst Dan Ives described the selloff as excessive. He suggests that upcoming earnings reports from hyperscalers may provide renewed support for AI capital spending, potentially stabilizing the sector.
