Coolpad has officially announced a delay in the shipment of its Cool X Wide smartphone. Originally scheduled for release on November 8, the device will now begin shipping on November 15, 2026. The company issued a formal apology through its flagship store on JD.com regarding the schedule change.
To compensate customers who purchased the one-yuan rights package before November 8, 2026, Coolpad is upgrading their benefits. These users will now receive a one-year replacement service instead of repairs, and the standard one-year extended warranty has been increased to three years.
The Cool X Wide features a 6.38-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 720x1158 resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The device includes a 5000-megapixel rear camera and a 4600mAh battery.
The smartphone is available in three colors: white, black, and red. It supports storage expansion via a TF card of up to 256GB. Pricing for the models is set at ¥999 for the 8GB+128GB version, ¥1199 for the 8GB+256GB version, and ¥1399 for the 12GB+256GB configuration.
