Cooler Master has launched the MWE SFX GOLD series, featuring power supply units with 850 W and 1000 W capacities. These units are priced at ¥859 and ¥999, respectively. Designed for small form-factor systems, including Mini-ITX builds, the devices measure 125 x 100 x 63.5 mm and include an ATX adapter bracket.
The power supplies comply with ATX 3.1 and PCIe CEM 5.1 standards and feature a 12V-2x6 connector for high-performance graphics cards. The fully modular cables are color-coded for easier installation. The series holds an 80 PLUS Gold certification, ensuring at least 90% efficiency under typical loads, and utilizes a digital power management system alongside Japanese capacitors.
Cooling is handled by a 92 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan with a zero-RPM mode for low loads. The units operate in ambient temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius and include comprehensive protection against voltage fluctuations, overcurrent, and overheating. The manufacturer claims a mean time between failures exceeding 100,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius and provides a 10-year warranty.
