Colosseum has announced the Crypto World’s Fair, a multi-chain hackathon scheduled to run from September 14 to October 12. The event invites developers building on various blockchains, including Solana and Ethereum, to compete in a unified pool.

The total prize pool for the event is approximately $840 000. This includes $100 000 for Solana-based tracks, $100 000 for Tempo-related projects, and $100 000 for Ethereum-related tracks. A grand prize of $30 000 is available, alongside $300 000 to be distributed among 20 projects.

Successful teams may be invited to join the Colosseum accelerator program. Each accepted team will receive $250 000 in funding. The company has allocated a total of $2.5 million in seed and pre-seed capital to support projects originating from this hackathon.

Historically, Colosseum has hosted events attracting over 80 000 participants and resulting in more than 9 000 submissions. Its previous event, Solana Frontier, generated 2 857 submissions and provided funding to over 74 portfolio companies.
