CoinMarketCap has acquired the derivatives analytics platform CoinGlass. The deal was finalized on September 25, 2026. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
CoinGlass, founded in 2019, provides data across 28 exchanges and over 2,500 trading instruments. Its tools include liquidation heatmaps, open interest dashboards, and funding rate tables.
The platform currently serves more than 5 million monthly users and has over 10,000 API clients. Following the acquisition, CoinGlass will maintain its existing brand, team, website, app, and pricing structure.
CoinMarketCap, owned by Binance since 2020, aims to integrate these derivatives analytics into its platform, which currently reaches 115 million monthly users.
