Coinbase has launched a new service allowing eligible US retail investors to request allocations in upcoming IPOs via its Coinbase Capital Markets platform. The company aims to transition from a crypto-focused exchange into a comprehensive financial services provider.
The health technology firm Oura will be the first company to offer shares through this platform. Oura filed its S-1 registration statement with the SEC on September 3, 2026, planning to issue 50 million shares at a price range of $40 to $44 per share.
The IPO could raise up to $2,2 billion, potentially valuing Oura at approximately $14 billion. The company reported revenue of $1,21 billion for the nine months ending June 30, 2026, marking a 74% year-over-year increase, and has 5 million paid members.
Oura, founded in 2013, has raised over $1,5 billion in private funding. Its valuation reached about $11 billion in late 2025. Shares will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker OURA, with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Robinhood Securities acting as underwriters.
