Coinbase and Deribit have launched six new perpetual futures markets for international traders. The new instruments cover Oracle, Palantir, Dell, CoreWeave, and two ETF-linked products, including the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3X Shares ETF.
The markets went live on October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC. These contracts are available 24/7 and allow for leverage of up to 50x. All positions are margined and settled in the USDC stablecoin, with no physical delivery of underlying shares.
The launch follows the integration of Deribit into Coinbase, which was acquired in August 2025 for approximately $2.9 billion. The platforms aim to pool liquidity for global users, excluding US residents due to regulatory restrictions.
This expansion is part of Coinbase's strategy to become an all-in-one trading venue. The company previously introduced similar equity perpetual products in March and June 2026, continuing its push to integrate traditional assets with crypto-native infrastructure.
