The awards will be presented at the CNews FORUM 2026, scheduled for November 12, 2026. The event will gather top executives from major Russian IT service providers, developers, and customers from various industries investing in ICT.
The awards will be feature four main categories: "Modern Country", "Import Substitution of the Year", "Technology of the Year/Russian Technologies", and "Digital Security". Special categories may also be established for outstanding projects that do not fit these main nominations.
The winners will be selected through direct electronic voting by the participants of the CNews FORUM, rather than by a jury. The organizing committee, consisting of members from CNews Analytics and CNews Conferences, will determine the project eligibility based on set criteria.
Projects completed in 2026 or those that have finished major milestones in 2026 are eligible for nomination. Applications for CNews AWARDS 2026 are currently open, and registration for the CNews FORUM 2026 is also available.
