The CMF brand, a subsidiary of Nothing, has introduced two new portable speakers featuring a unique milk carton design. The lineup includes the compact CMF Speaker S and the more powerful CMF Speaker M, both offering modular customization options for users.
The CMF Speaker S is equipped with a 45mm driver and two passive radiators, delivering 10W RMS power with a frequency range of 70–20,000Hz. It is priced at $59, £49, or €59. The device supports Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C connectivity, and Auracast technology.
The CMF Speaker M features dedicated woofer and tweeter units, providing 35W RMS power and a frequency range of 60–20,000Hz. This model is available for $109, £99, or €99. Both speakers offer an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Both models include advanced audio features such as a bass boost mode, adaptive tuning, and a customizable equalizer. The manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 18 hours. Users can also utilize quick pairing functionality for seamless device integration.
A key feature of the new CMF speakers is the modular design. The front panel and volume knob can be removed using a rear unlock switch. This allows owners to replace or customize these components using 3D printing technology.
