CME Group is expanding its regulated futures offerings by adding Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap contracts. The exchange plans to launch these products on October 19, subject to regulatory approval. Traders will have access to both standard and micro-sized contracts for both assets.

The Bitcoin Cash futures will represent 250 BCH for standard contracts and 25 BCH for micro versions. Uniswap futures are set at 10,000 UNI for standard contracts and 1,000 UNI for micro versions. These additions will bring the total number of single-asset crypto futures products at CME to eleven.

The exchange previously introduced futures for Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui in 2026. According to CME, these five assets have generated over $1 billion in total notional value year-to-date. The broader crypto complex saw an average daily volume of 279,800 contracts in the first half of 2026.

The total notional volume for the first half of 2026 reached $8.3 billion, with an average open interest of 264,600 contracts, valued at $15.4 billion. These new instruments are designed to provide market participants with regulated tools for managing price risk in digital assets.
