The Clicks Communicator smartphone is scheduled to begin shipping in December, nearly a year after its initial debut at CES 2026. Prior to the official launch, the company has implemented several hardware upgrades while announcing a price increase. Currently, the device is available for pre-order at $499, but the price will rise to $649 starting October 1.
The updated specifications include an increase in RAM from 8GB to 12GB and a larger battery capacity of 4350mAh, rated for over 800 charge cycles. The device will ship with Android 17, with guaranteed support for future updates up to Android 20 and five years of security patches. Internally, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset and includes 256GB of storage with microSD expansion.
The design features a 4.03-inch 120Hz AMOLED display paired with a physical QWERTY keyboard, inspired by classic BlackBerry devices. The keyboard supports touch gestures for navigation, and the space bar doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Clicks will offer multiple keyboard layouts, including AZERTY, QWERTZ, Korean, and Arabic, alongside the standard English version.
The hardware configuration also includes a 50MP rear camera, a 24MP front camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Clicks markets the Communicator as a secondary device designed to facilitate messaging and calls while reducing screen time. The company positions the product as a new type of mobile communication tool for users seeking a more focused experience.
