Clearpool has launched a redesigned decentralized application featuring a swap tool for migrating CPOOL tokens to the new CLEAR token. The conversion occurs at a 1:1 ratio and has been available since October 5, 2026.

The migration follows a governance vote on October 2, 2026, where 97.16% of participants supported the token transition and expansion to the XRP Ledger. The total supply of CLEAR will be 1.125 billion tokens, compared to the previous 1 billion CPOOL supply.

Existing CPOOL holders are allocated 70% of the new supply. Additionally, Clearpool introduced a mechanism to use 50% of protocol fees to buy back and burn CLEAR tokens from the open market.

The protocol is shifting its focus toward institutional lending on the XRP Ledger in collaboration with partners including Ripple, Cicada Partners, and Hex Trust. Since its 2021 launch on Ethereum, Clearpool has originated nearly $1 billion in loans.

Full implementation of the strategic plan is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. Further details regarding the allocation of the remaining 30% of the CLEAR supply and the specific timeline for the XRP Ledger launch are expected later.
