Analyst Brian Dobson from Clear Street has reaffirmed a Buy rating for Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, and increased the price target for its MSTR stock from $201 to $211. This update precedes the company's scheduled earnings report on October 29, 2026.

The firm recently utilized proceeds from a common stock sale to repurchase preferred shares and bolster its US dollar reserves. By reducing the number of outstanding preferred shares, Strategy has lowered its recurring dividend obligations, which were previously identified as a financial burden.

Clear Street highlighted that the STRC preferred share class is currently trading near its $100 par value. This market position may allow the company to resume issuing preferred stock, providing an alternative funding channel that reduces reliance on common stock issuance and mitigates dilution risks.

Strategy continues to expand its Bitcoin holdings, having purchased 267 BTC recently and maintaining a streak of acquisitions for five consecutive weeks. Following the analyst's note, MSTR shares experienced an intraday increase of 5–7%, trading between $144 and $146.
