The platform is integrated directly into SAP Cloud ERP, marking the first time SAP has incorporated native payment processing into its enterprise resource planning software.
On October 7, 2026, Circle announced a partnership to integrate its USDC and EURC stablecoins into SAP Pay. This allows businesses to conduct settlements using stablecoins alongside traditional methods like ACH, EFT, wire transfers, and checks, without needing separate cryptocurrency applications.
The system features automated reconciliation, fraud detection, and multi-rail routing, which automatically selects the optimal payment method for transactions. Tereina claims that using SAP Pay can reduce payment costs by up to 25% by leveraging existing service provider networks.
At launch, the service is available in the US and the UK, supporting 89 global payment corridors. The Arc blockchain, which debuted on September 16, 2026, serves as the preferred network for eligible stablecoin transactions within the platform.
