Chery's Rhino Battery lineup includes three series for hybrids, BEVs, and solid-state applications. The company's solid-state cells have reached an energy density of 400 Wh/kg, utilizing a sulfide-based solid electrolyte and a high-nickel ternary cathode.

As a transitional step, solid-liquid hybrid batteries will be installed in vehicles starting in the fourth quarter of 2026. Full all-solid-state batteries are scheduled to enter vehicle validation in 2027, aligning with the goals of other Chinese manufacturers like CATL and BYD.
