The Chery Stockman pickup features a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain. The system delivers 469 hp and 800 Nm of torque, utilizing a 34 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery. The vehicle offers an electric-only range of 60 miles, or 96 km.

The truck is rated for a towing capacity of 7,705 lbs, or 3,495 kg. Standard off-road equipment includes front, center, and rear locking differentials, all-terrain tires, a double-wishbone front suspension, and a rear leaf spring setup.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14-speaker audio system. The vehicle also includes a full suite of ADAS safety features.

Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin early next year. Following the diesel launch, Chery plans to introduce a gasoline-powered plug-in hybrid variant, which will feature an independent rear suspension instead of leaf springs.
