The new Cherry MX3.0S PRO mechanical keyboard is now available in three versions: wired non-backlit, wired RGB, and wireless RGB. Prices for these models start at ¥459, ¥599, and ¥799 respectively.
The device features a full-layout design with a CNC-machined anodized aluminum body. Internally, the keyboard utilizes a plate-less construction combined with two layers of sound-dampening material.
Users can choose between several switch types, including MX ILLUMA Red, Brown, and Sakura, as well as the MX2A Blue switch. The keyboard supports an 8kHz polling rate and an 8kHz scanning rate.
Performance metrics indicate an average USB latency of less than 0.2ms and a 2.4GHz wireless latency of less than 0.4ms. Battery life is rated at 730 hours for Bluetooth connectivity and 420 hours for 2.4GHz wireless mode.
