The Indian platform ChargeIndia has launched an aggregation service that consolidates over 40 charge point operators into a single interface. This solution provides electric vehicle drivers with access to charging infrastructure across more than 1,200 cities in India.

The service aims to resolve the fragmentation of the public charging market by eliminating the need for multiple apps and separate prepaid accounts. Users can now locate chargers, verify availability, navigate to stations, and initiate charging sessions directly within the new application.

Payments are processed through India's UPI system, removing the requirement to maintain balances with individual providers. Initial partners integrated into the platform include major networks such as Statiq, ChargeMOD, and ChargeZone.

ChargeIndia also functions as an interoperability layer for businesses, including OEMs and mobility services. By utilizing the Open Charge Point Interface, the platform allows these entities to connect with multiple charging networks through a single integration without establishing separate agreements with each operator.
