The LINK token reached a 2026 peak of $14.89 in late September, recovering from levels below $13. Daily trading activity stabilized between $14.00 and $14.50 by the end of the month, with the peak price recorded as an intraday spike.

Market data shows a divergence in behavior: while retail investors reduced their positions, large holders acquired over 2.5 million LINK tokens within a 10-day period. Chainlink’s strategic reserve also increased by 373,791 tokens in September, reaching a total of 6.05 million LINK, valued at approximately $90 million.

Chainlink announced a partnership with Infosys to integrate its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol for over 600 banking and payment platforms. Additionally, the project launched CCIP 2.0, an upgrade for asset transfers between blockchain environments, supported by firms such as ANZ and Fidelity International.

Analysts are focusing on trading volume to assess the sustainability of the current price trend. The $15 mark remains a significant technical and psychological barrier, as the asset has not traded consistently above this level for an extended period.
