Centrifuge and Compass Labs have integrated Centrifuge’s deRWA tokens into the Compass Labs API ecosystem. This partnership, announced on August 6, allows developers, fintech firms, and AI agents to interact with tokenized credit and equity products using natural language inputs.
The infrastructure enables the bundling of up to 43 individual transactions into a single signature operation. This process reduces gas costs and simplifies complex financial strategies, such as multi-asset swaps or liquidity pooling, across the Ethereum and Base networks.
The integration supports two primary tokens: deSPXA, which offers exposure to the S&P 500, and deJAAA, which represents AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations. The system remains non-custodial, ensuring users retain control of their assets and provide final transaction approval.
Compass Labs, which is backed by a16z crypto, detailed the technical implementation in a blog post on August 10. The system manages asset attribution and routing logic, eliminating the need for platforms to develop custom connectors for each asset.
Centrifuge reports that its total onchain tokenized assets now exceed $2 billion. The deJAAA token reached $1 billion in assets under management, marking the fastest growth for any product in the company's history.
