Ceer, a joint venture between Foxconn and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has unveiled its first electric vehicle model, the Exobot. The car will be available in two body styles: a sedan and an SUV. The company plans to expand its lineup to seven models by 2030.
The Exobot features a tri-motor all-wheel-drive system with a peak output of 1,111 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. The drivetrain incorporates technology from Rimac, Hyundai Transys, and BMW. The sedan reaches 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds, while the SUV achieves this in 2.4 seconds.
The vehicle includes steer-by-wire technology and a 48-inch 8K display. Production is scheduled to begin at the Ceer Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City in January 2027, with initial deliveries expected in March 2027. Pricing details have not been released.
The PIF estimates that Ceer will contribute over SAR 30 billion to the national GDP by 2034. The company aims to reach a 45 percent local content share by that year, supporting the development of the automotive sector within the region.
