Ceer, Saudi Arabia's first domestic electric vehicle brand, has unveiled its EXOBOT flagship line, consisting of an electric SUV and a sedan. The company, established in 2022 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Public Investment Fund, plans to release seven vehicle models within the next five years.
The EXOBOT SUV features a 112 kWh battery, providing an estimated NEDC range of 560 km. It is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 850 horsepower, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. The sedan offers a range of 670 km with similar performance metrics.
Production will take place at the Ceer Manufacturing Complex, described as the largest automotive facility in the Middle East. The vehicles utilize an 800-volt architecture, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in 30 minutes. The SUV includes steer-by-wire technology, air suspension, and a 48-inch curved display.
Ceer has secured technical partnerships with Hyundai Transys and Rimac for electric drive systems. The brand is a key component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, with projections estimating a contribution of $8 billion to the national GDP by 2034 as the country diversifies its economy.
