CATL has launched its largest Ning Service Center outside Asia in Oslo, Norway, on 24 September. The 8,000-square-metre facility serves as a hub for the Nordic region, offering battery diagnostics, maintenance, repair, recycling, and second-life applications for electric vehicles, energy storage, and robotics.

The center also functions as a sales and experience hub for electric ships and eVTOL aircraft. CATL intends to shift the aftermarket focus from full battery replacement to repair, noting that complex repair times have been reduced from 72 to 48 hours. Currently, the company's repair expertise covers 76.8 per cent of electric vehicle models.

To ensure quality, the facility utilizes the Intelligent Eagle Eye System, which is deployed in over 150 workshops globally. The Oslo location will also serve as a key training center, offering certified courses for local technicians. This initiative is supported by a network spanning 39 European countries and 14 instructors, with plans for partnerships with local universities.

The Ning Service brand, operating independently since 2024, currently manages 1,394 locations across 85 countries. Following the opening of a 7,000-square-metre center in Riyadh in early 2026, the company continues its global expansion. CATL aims to reach a presence in 100 countries by 2027 and expand the network to 10,000 service locations by 2030.
