Catch has emerged from stealth with $5 million in seed funding to develop an AI executive assistant. The startup is based in Tel Aviv and aims to automate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, and booking travel without requiring users to create prompts or build workflows.

The funding round was co-led by Entrée Capital and Pitango, with participation from Seedcamp and Factorial Capital. The company intends to use the new capital to support further product development and growth.

The AI assistant works across text, email, Slack, and phone by connecting to an existing accounts. It creates a profile of the executive's work habits, including travel preferences and interaction patterns, to handle routine tasks independently. The system uses a specialized architecture of "splinter agents" where each agent is limited to the data required for a particular task.

Catch reports that the system has already scheduled over 12,000 meetings, delegated more than 20,000 tasks, and processed over 200,000 emails. The company states that the system is SOC 2 compliant and independently audited. To improve the models, the CTO Yoav Ramon noted that the company uses anonymized interaction data to train open-source models through supervised and reinforcement learning.
