Casio has unveiled the G-Shock Frogman GWF-D1000BC-1JF, marking the first update to its flagship diving platform since 2019. The watch features a black tactical design and a new composite bracelet made of metal H-links and bio-based resin. It weighs 181 grams and measures 59.2 by 53.3 by 18 millimeters.

The device is ISO-certified for diving up to 200 meters and includes a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Its Triple Sensor array provides a digital compass, thermometer, and depth gauge. The latter tracks depths up to 80 meters with 0.1-meter precision and automatically logs up to 20 dives starting from a depth of 1.5 meters.

Powered by the Tough Solar system, the watch offers up to 23 months of operation in power-saving mode or seven months under normal usage. It supports Multi-Band 6 radio time synchronization but lacks Bluetooth connectivity. Additional features include tide and moon phase tracking, world time for 48 cities, and a Super Illuminator backlight.
